- For M.Tech Admission Candidate Must pass with 50% in 10th & 12th (PCM/B) and 50% in graduation in the relevant subject.
- For MBA Admission Candidate Must pass UPESMET/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ CMAT/ GMAT followed by Personal Interview.

Scholarship
UPES Dehradun Scholarship Criteria:
Scholarships are awarded based on Class 12th marks, JEE score, or CUET score and apply only to the first year.
For Girls:
- 10% Scholarship – 60% to 75% in Class 12th or 80% to 90% in JEE/CUET
- 15% Scholarship – 75.01% to 85% in Class 12th
- 20% Scholarship – 85.01% to 90% in Class 12th or 90.01% to 94.99% in JEE/CUET
- 25% Scholarship – 90.01% to 94.99% in Class 12th
- 30% Scholarship – 95% or above in Class 12th, JEE, or CUET
For Boys:
- 10% Scholarship – 75% to 80% in Class 12th or 80% to 90% in JEE/CUET
- 15% Scholarship – 80.01% to 90% in Class 12th
- 20% Scholarship – 90.01% to 94.99% in JEE/CUET
- 25% Scholarship – 90.01% to 94.99% in Class 12th
- 30% Scholarship – 95% or above in Class 12th, JEE, or CUET
📌 Note: If a student scores 80.7% or 80.9% in Class 12th, it will be rounded off to 80%, and they will receive the corresponding scholarship on first-year tuition fees.
