In government medical colleges of Maharashtra, the MBBS fee is approximately 70,000 to 1,30,000 per annum. It is slightly different per college, but it is very cheap as it is subsidized by the government.
In private medical colleges, the annual fee is between 6 lakh to 12 lakh rupees. It varies with the college and if you secure an open, management or NRI quota seat.
Hostel fees range from ₹20,000 to ₹60,000 per year in government colleges and around ₹80,000 to ₹1.5 lakh per year in private colleges. This includes mess charges in most cases.
