Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College founded in 1990, is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. The DD Upadhyaya; it is named after the philosopher and political thinker of India, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya which is situated in Dwarka, New Delhi. Currently, the college is involved in offering undergraduate science, commerce, and humanities leading to collegiate status while maintaining academic standards and empowered intellectual creativity. The current campus has developed technology friendly structures such as the smart class, state of the art laboratories, a good library, and sports courts.

 Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College Admission Process

• Admission to all Undergraduate Programs at the University of Delhi is based only on the scores obtained in CUET.

• The applicant must be a citizen of India for CUET based admission.

• Gap year will not be a bar for purpose of admission to undergraduate programs. However, such candidates must have appeared in CUET for admissions.

• If at any stage, original documents relating to a candidate’s admission are found to be fake/ non-genuine or fabricated or in any other manner defective, the concerned candidate will not be admitted and if already admitted, admission will be cancelled without any prior notice in this regard. No fee shall be refunded in such cases. If the same is found after completing the course, the candidate’s degree will be cancelled and appropriate legal action will be taken against him/her.

• For BMS Candidates must have appeared in CUET with Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics.

Out of the 148 students who wrote their examinations and applied for the 2023 placements 58 were successful. The overall career placement achievement percentage was 38.19%. Twenty-nine firms took part in the 2023 drive. The highest package and average package for the 2023 batch of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College knowledge, stood at INR 21.50 LPA and INR 7 LPA, correspondingly. The DDU College hostel is for full time Under-graduate students of this college and research scholars enrolled under the supervision of faculties of this college with University of Delhi. It has two hostel one for male students and other for the female students. In total each of the hostels offers forty-five furnished rooms which can be made available to students.

Delhi University conducts competitive examination every year in the month of October to offer All India Entrance Scholarships of 250/- per month. Any student with at least 55% marks in the aggregatemay apply as notificd by the university on the prescribed forms obtainable from the College Offce.

SHRI SULTAN CHAND MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The scholarship of Rs. 3500/- is proposed to be awarded by out of the interest derived from Shri Sultan Chand endowment fund (instituted by Shri Sultan Chand Trust) to that student who has got the second highest marks, including above 70% as an aggregate in II-year University Examination of B. Com (Hons).
