GEC Raipur provided extra time to students who needed to complete their online scholarship applications during academic year 2025-26. Through this extension students gain more time to acquire financial support needed for their educational pursuits. The revised deadline affects all student scholarship schemes including Post-Matric Scholarship along with AICTE Pragati Scholarship for women and Saksham Scholarship for disabled students. The National Scholarship Portal provides the application pathway for interested candidates.

Extended Deadlines:

Post Matric Scholarship: For new and renewal applicants the application deadline is January 31, 2025 For more information about the changes made for the 2021 FY, see the Budget Summary pdf for FY 2021.

AICTE Pragati and Saksham Scholarships: These scholarships are meant for female students and students with a physical disability as well. Management is yet to announce the new application deadlines.

Eligibility Criteria:

Post Matric Scholarship: It is available to SC/ST/OBC candidates who have taken admission in full time prescribed course and whose family income is up to ₹ 8 lakh per annum.

AICTE Pragati Scholarship: Available to female students who joined a first or second year of a degree programme by transfer in an AICTE recognized institution. The family income should not be more than Rs 80000 per annum in Indian currency.

AICTE Saksham Scholarship: Specially tailored for Students with Disability having not less than 40% disability, who is pursuing technical degree program in any AICTE approved institution. The candidates should not have the family income more than ₹8 lakh per annum.

Application Process:

Anyone interested should apply through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) and make sure to check their applications with the given university before the due dates. Specific rules and regulation and requirement for submitting the application is given on the official website of GEC Raipur; thus, students are suggested to refer to it or directly contact the office of the scholarship.

This extension offers a good chance for students to get a chance of being offered fees to help them through their college class. It is suggested that students intend to apply for these dates to complete the application process before these new, longer deadlines.
