The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh, will release the UP NEET Cutoff 2025 for 85% state quota seats after every round of counselling. These cutoffs will show the last score and rank at which students get admission in government and private medical colleges across the state. The rest of the 15% all India quota (AIQ) seats would be done by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) where they would carry the counselling and declare cutoff. The cutoff varies on an annual basis due to lots of reasons such as the intake, level of NEET exam, available vacancies and subsequently the reservation guidelines. For many students, these cutoffs mean everything. They carry the weight of dreams, struggles, and the hope of wearing that white coat one day.
UP NEET cutoff is simply the minimum marks or rank you require in order to secure an institute in an MBBS or BDS college in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Each year it is different as it depends on the number of students who apply, how difficult the exam was and the number of places available.

If you’re dreaming of top government dental colleges like KGMU Lucknow or AMU Aligarh, your NEET 2025 score should be around 550–595+, and your rank should be within 10,000–30,000 (for General category).
If you're aiming for private dental colleges, the cutoffs are much lower. You can expect admission with a score around 300–380 and a rank above 100,000–150,000+ in later counselling rounds.
The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh (DGME UP) releases the NEET UG 2025 cutoff for MBBS/BDS admissions under the state quota.
Based on previous trends, the expected cutoff for General category in top government medical colleges in UP may range between 610–650+ marks.
